The shift
The capability curve is moving toward the device while the privacy stakes are moving up.
For much of computing, useful intelligence meant sending information away to centralized infrastructure. As personal devices become more capable, Vecorps believes more personal intelligence can move closer to the person using it. Cloud infrastructure remains useful and will continue to exist. Personal context deserves a different architectural default. The more context AI understands about someone, the more important the location, ownership and control of that context become.
Personal intelligence
An assistant can answer a question. Personal intelligence should understand the context around the person asking it.
Personal intelligence becomes more useful when it can retain relevant context over time. Preferences. Projects. Habits. Relationships. Decisions. The things that should not need to be explained again every time. Greater context should come with greater user control. Memory should not become an invisible profile assembled somewhere the user cannot inspect.
Why TAU first
Memory is where personal intelligence begins.
TAU is Vecorps' first product because continuity is one of the first problems personal AI must solve. It combines an on-device core model with persistent personal memory: useful recall across conversations, memory you can see, edit and delete, and a core experience that works offline after the one-time model download. TAU is the first expression of that direction.
Beyond TAU
From a conversation you return to, toward intelligence that can help across more of your digital life.
The longer-term direction is richer personal context, increasingly capable local models, tools the user explicitly asks the AI to use, and continuity across more of the user's digital environment. Over time, personal intelligence should become more useful without requiring a centralized personal profile. This is a direction, not a product roadmap. TAU is the first expression of a larger direction.
